This template is used for generating a short description for {{Infobox television}}. It uses that template's |released= or |first_aired=, and |country= parameters to generate the short description.

The short description will generate as: <year> <country> TV series or program/me.

If a project has multiple entries for |country=, the short description will generate as: <year> multi-national TV series or program/me.
